Egg-cellent Easter Fun at Door 84!
Posted on 24/4/2025
We had a fantastic Easter break here at Door 84, buzzing with activities for young people!
Thanks to our ongoing partnership with the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, we were able to offer a wide range of exciting sessions between April 7th and April 17th.
The HAF programme is a brilliant national initiative that helps organisations like ours, provide fun activities and healthy meals during school holidays.
This Easter, young people got stuck into all sorts of things, including:
- Whipping up delicious treats in our cooking & baking sessions.
- Enjoying the fun and friendship of our regular youth clubs.
- Learning some new moves in a fantastic dance workshop.
- Getting creative with arts and crafts sessions.
- Exploring their dramatic side in a special drama session delivered in partnership with the wonderful Generate Theatre.
We were thrilled to welcome 45 young people to our Youth and Community Centre over the two-week break, with many returning for multiple sessions – it was great to see so many enthusiastic faces!
A massive thank you to the HAF programme for their invaluable support, to Generate Theatre for leading such an engaging drama session, and most importantly, to all the incredible young people who came along and made every session so much fun!
