Musical Mornings With Mambo Jambo

We were thrilled to welcome Mambo Jambo back to Sparks this week! The acoustic roots duo brought their upbeat mix of world, folk, jazz, and roots music, and we loved every moment.

They visited us last year, and their workshops were such a hit that we couldn’t wait to have them back. The sessions are full of energy, offering plenty of opportunities for everyone to get involved. This week’s activities included singing, dancing, playing instruments, and fun call-and-response songs.

Helen, a carer who joined us on Tuesday, described the morning as “like a little ray of sunlight.”

Frankie, one half of the musical duo, shared: “We were so happy to be invited back to Door 84. There’s always a touch of magic in the room! Everyone freely expresses themselves, and it’s wonderful to see the interaction between the attendees.”

Anita, a regular attendee, added: “My favourite part was the rock and roll dancing!”
