Beat the Winter Blues: Cook and Connect

Posted on 21/1/2026

Winter can often feel like a time to stay indoors and hibernate, but we have the perfect reason to step out and try something new. We are thrilled to announce that our popular 5-week FREE cooking course is back!

This course offers a friendly, informal, and relaxed space where you can learn at your own pace.

Our sessions cover food prep skills, tasting sessions, and clever cooking techniques using ingredients most of us already have tucked away in our cupboards.

It’s also a fantastic way to break the winter routine. Many of our attendees find that the social side of the course is just as rewarding as the cooking itself.

“I’ve loved today, more fun than I’d imagined it would be!” Jane

Join Our Next FREE 5-week Course

If you’re aged 16 – 24 and looking for a positive way to spend your winter weeks, we would love to have you join us.

  • Start Date: 19th February 2026
  • Cost: Completely FREE
  • Focus: Low-cost recipes, confidence building, meeting new people and general wellbeing.
