Students with Big Hearts: “All Should Eat” Donates to Door 84
Posted on 9/6/2025
We were delighted to receive a generous delivery of over 20 bags of donated food from Anna and Rachel, volunteers with the “All Should Eat” society at the University of York.
“All Should Eat” is a student-led volunteering group tackling food poverty in York while helping to reduce food waste on campus. By partnering with local food banks and charities like Door 84, their volunteers support those in need and champion sustainable food practices.
Anna shared, “Even though it’s exam season and many students are really busy, we’ve actually received more donations than ever. They may be stressed with their studies, but this shows they have big hearts and are still thinking of others.”
She added “We’ve been donating to Door 84 for over a year now, and we love supporting them. Everyone at the charity is so kind and friendly, and we really admire how they support not just young people but other marginalised groups in our community too.”
From everyone at Door 84: a huge thank you to Anna, Rachel, and all the students who donated. Your support means a great deal to us and to the people we work with. You’re making a real difference—thank you!
